The South Australian Cricket Academy provides opportunities for players not currently training with Redbacks, Scorpions & state underage squads to access a program to support skill development and performance at club. Whilst in the program, players are mentored to gain an understanding of what is required to improve performance, develop their skills and maximise their talent to push their case to be selected at higher levels at club or youth state squads.
"Having coached at South Australian Premier Club level & currently coaching in the Redbacks High-Performance system, namely Redbacks League, Under 19s and Under 17s, my passion in coaching is to develop cricketers to give them the best chance to be selected to represent South Australia across all levels. Not only is it important to develop the on-field skills and raise your level of performance, I strongly believe in the off-field factors that can influence on field output, namely the balance of work, study & all areas of personal development. The South Australian Cricket Academy philosophy provides the balance of developing cricketers on & off the field to assist their pursuit to be selected at 1st Grade Premier Cricket and state youth squads.
The South Australia Cricket Academy Exists To Deliver The Following;

Mentor players with personal development, work & study pursuits, to ensure a positive life balance with the sport.
